Tracy Quan’s latest novel is Diary of a Jetsetting Call Girl.
Her first book, Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl, is being developed into an HBO television series by Darren Star.
Tracy’s Call Girl novels are being published in fifteen countries and fourteen languages. (Diary of a Married Call Girl was released this summer in Denmark.)
Tracy’s recent Guardian columns have looked at Mary Magdalen’s changing image (a theme in Diary of a Jetsetting Call Girl) and Obama’s pimp cred (a theme in the 2008 US elections.) She has also written for Cosmopolitan, The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Financial Times, The Drawbridge and South China Morning Post.
A member of PONY (Prostitutes of New York), she has been invited to speak at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, University of Ottawa, and the Open Society Institute.
